Step into Christmas at The Bear — where twinkling lights, candlelit tables and the scent of mulled wine set the scene for the most wonderful time of the year. Our halls are decked with glittering trees, festive garlands and roaring good cheer.
Tuck into comforting Christmas favourites like turkey pies, pigs in blankets, and all the trimmings — perfect with one of our festive cocktails or a classic winter pint. Every night brings something new: live music, DJs, Christmas karaoke, and even a few cheeky carols for those who can’t resist a sing-along.
Join in the fun with Christmas games, pull a cracker, pop on your party hat and make merry with friends old and new. Whether you’re coming for a cosy meal or a full-on festive night out, our pub is the place to be this Christmas season.
As well as Christmas we can accommodate the following events (and any other reason you feel the need to celebrate) all year round: Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, baby showers, family get-togethers, corporate lunches, meetings, hens & stag dos.

We’ve been catering, planning and operating events for the last 15 years, and are happy to be as involved as you’d like us to be; decorations, music, cakes, and games are all things we do well, so drop us a line.
